Reflections On My First Goodwood
My wife and I just returned home after attending our first Goodwood event with a group from Team Shelby and Shelby American. We were there to celebrate Carroll Shelby's Centennial, and to participate in Goodwood's remembrance of the man, his legacy, and his cars.
Living the High Horsepower Dream
My adventure began in June of 1984 when I purchased my first car, a 1968 Ford Mustang Coupe. Our travels introduced us to the dream of someday owning a Shelby. In 2010, the dream came true when we purchased a 2008 GT500KR.
Connecting People Through Cars
Team Shelby ventured out this year past its California roots to Carlisle, Pennsylvania, as part of the Carroll Shelby Centennial. The community building story and its Shelby connection is amazing.

Aaron Shelby: It's All About the People
Meeting people is one of the things I enjoy the most about Shelby events. My grandfather Carroll was a genuine people person. He really liked to hear people's stories, and he was interested in what they had to say.
Generational Fire: Three of Shelby's Grandsons Keep His Legacy Alive
Carroll Shelby is renowned for his racing victories and the performance vehicles that bear his name. Three of Carroll's grandsons — Aaron, Randall and Shawn — are active in various Shelby enterprises and the community.
Behind the Scenes of Ford v Ferrari
It's November 4, 2019. I'm standing behind the historic El Capitan Theater in downtown Hollywood and I'm about to hand Randall Shelby's Cobra keys to Christian Bale. It's not a set of circumstances I ever could have dreamed I'd be in.
Team Shelby: The Soul of the Shelby Community
Though Team Shelby passed an important milestone in 2023 as the club reached 15 years in existence, it took a backseat to a much more important occasion — the 100th anniversary of Carroll Shelby's birth.
Making High Performance Dreams Come True
As an employee of Shelby American for 22+ years, I have experienced some of the most awesome cars and trucks in the world. It is so fun to take my talent of seeing a design in my mind and then manufacture it.
Shelby F-250 Super Baja — a REALLY Big Deal in Trucks
Carroll Shelby enjoyed a long history with performance trucks and SUVs. He experimented and built many models over the years while working with various automakers, pioneering the mid-size performance pickups.
Dreaming Big
I first found my need for speed at a very young age, in a Power Wheels, and then on dirt bikes and quads. That was the start of me becoming a 4th generation car enthusiast, racer and certified welder.
