Important Notice
These vehicles have been tuned by a professional technician using state of the art technology. A database has been created of your vehicle's engine capability, horsepower, performance ability and features. Failure to follow and comply with the below requirements and guidelines can be easily detected and will void the customer's warranty when detected.
1 — Fuel Requirements
Do NOT use less than 98 octane gasoline. Use of below 98 octane will cause engine damage and WILL VOID the GUA driveline warranty.
A fuel octane of 98 or higher is recommended for the life of your supercharged vehicle.
Fuel older than 180 days must be completely drained from the fuel tank and fuel lines, then replaced with fresh 98+ octane fuel before starting or driving.
Do NOT add octane booster to old fuel. It will not bring old fuel to the required standard.
2 — Engine Break-In (First 1,600 km — including ALL test drives)
Do NOT accelerate at full throttle.
Do NOT exceed 4,000 engine RPM.
Do NOT tow a trailer or create engine bind from pulling or towing.
Do NOT operate or use cruise control.
Failure to follow these guidelines can cause premature failure to powertrain components and will void the warranty.
3 — Oil & Lubrication
Use ONLY Ford Motorcraft 5W50 synthetic oil.
First oil change at 1,600 km — then every 7,500 km thereafter.
Supercharger oil: change every 50,000 km or less using Ford Motorcraft #XL-4 Supercharger Synthetic Oil.
4 — Spark Plugs
Exchange every 20,000 km or less.
Reset gap to .028" (0.71 mm).
Use ONLY Ford Motorcraft spark plugs recommended for your vehicle's year, model, and engine size.
5 — Air Filter
Clean using K&N Cleaning Kit or equivalent every 15,000 km or less, depending on environment.
A clean, functioning air filter is critical to the engine's performance and lifespan.
6 — Owner Acknowledgement Checklist
Please initial each item to confirm you have read and understood each requirement.

I will use 98+ octane fuel for the life of the vehicle and will not use fuel older than 180 days.
For the first 1,600 km I will not exceed 4,000 RPM, use full throttle, tow, or use cruise control.
I will use only Ford Motorcraft 5W50 synthetic oil and perform the first oil change at 1,600 km.
I will change the supercharger oil every 50,000 km using Ford Motorcraft #XL-4 Supercharger Synthetic Oil.
I will replace spark plugs every 20,000 km using Ford Motorcraft plugs reset to .028" gap.
I will clean the air filter every 15,000 km or less using a K&N Cleaning Kit or equivalent.
I will not modify hardware or software from Shelby / Tuscany / Fox / GUA B.V. original specifications.
I understand that failure to comply with any of the above will void my driveline warranty.
7 — Owner Declaration & Signature
I, the undersigned, confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to comply with all of the GUA B.V. Run-In Procedures and Supercharger Agreement requirements listed above. I acknowledge that failure to follow these procedures — including during test drives — may be detected and will void my driveline warranty. I agree to return this signed form to GUA B.V. as a condition of activating my warranty.
